Américo Martins Lda - Beja

This company rebuilt our 6 litre V8 engine after a breakdown. The materials and the workmanship used in the repair was very substandard to the point of further failure of the engine. We supplied all parts EXCEPT the valve seats and this is what failed in the second breakdown. We were left stranded on a Spanish motorway for 4 days because of the poor work that was carried out by Americo Martin's. This breakdown has cost us in excess of €4000, and the company are denying all responsibility, they have wiped their hands of any recompense, indeed saying that the breakdown was our fault! Which is an impossibility as all other parts of engine are in full running order. This company is not to be trusted , when things go wrong they will walk away and leave you stranded! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ENGINE REPAIR!
